And it still looks good when stretched in either direction so it is VERY FORGIVING when used in situations where it’s hard to maintain the aspect of a pattern. Try a slight (-.5 at designed size) negative vertical spacing on this pattern. 

This design works as fire, zebra stripes, grass, or just a generic meander.
